Build Our Tomorrow Campaign: We have $13.5 Million Reasons to Celebrate!
The new Richardson Senior School and Riley Fitness Centre
It is hard to believe that our students have completed a full year in the Richardson Senior School and Riley Fitness Centre. We continue to hear wonderful comments from students and faculty and are so grateful to you for investing in SJR and helping to build these exceptional facilities. The success of the Build Our Tomorrow Campaign depends on the generosity of our donors. We are grateful to our families, alumni and friends who have already participated. Our sincere thanks!
Richardson Senior School
Designed to meet the needs and challenge the minds of the 21st century student, the state-of-the-art Richardson Senior School - made possible by a lead gift from the Richardson Foundation and members of the Richardson family - opened on October 15, 2014. This impressive three-storey structure will propel SJR to the forefront of modern education, providing SJR graduates of tomorrow with the classrooms, technologies and facilities which they need.
Riley Fitness Centre
SJR has always emphasized the importance of a well-rounded education, with active, healthy living as one of our cornerstones. Through athletics, students not only build strong bodies, they also build character as they learn valuable lessons about leadership, teamwork and sportsmanship. They begin to develop and trust their abilities, to think on their feet, and to understand the ways in which physical fitness is key to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Fully equipped and built to the highest standards, the new Fitness Centre will be able to accommodate two classes simultaneously, addressing the scheduling needs of all three schools. It will also allow us to provide an integrated and comprehensive program with personal assessment and fitness activities tailored to individual needs, recognizing the diverse needs of our community.

We haven’t invested in the School for quite some time to this degree. The time has come to step forward and to do our part to build a school. It is our turn to provide the infrastructure for future generations.
