Bursaries

Bursaries are awarded on the basis of financial need.

The initial analysis is conducted by a third party, Apple Financial Services, and all information is kept in the strictest confidence.

While the number of applications for bursaries normally exceeds the funds available, the School makes every effort to assist as many families as possible. Bursaries may be withdrawn if there is a change in the parents’ financial status. Continuance of a bursary is subject to annual application.

We request that interested families apply for a bursary after their child has been accepted to SJR; applying for financial assistance has no bearing on the admission process.

To apply for a bursary:

• Locate the financial aid online application at www.applefinancialservices.ca.
• Complete the application form and gather the required supporting documents according to the posted deadlines.

Apple Financial will send an analysis of the application and a recommendation directly to the School. Then, the School will make the final decision on the amount of financial aid granted to the family and contact applicants, in writing, regarding the amount of funds awarded.
