    Our teachers dedicate themselves to ensuring each student reaches their fullest potential and to instilling them with a love of learning from an early age - all within the nurturing, safe, fun environment of Junior School.

  • Thomson House

    Girls' Boarding is located in historic Thomson House, home to St. John's-Ravenscourt School since 1934.

  • Middle School

    Middle School students take a break between classes in Rousseau Hall, with its beautiful views across the river.

  • Riley Fitness Centre

    The newly constructed Riley Fitness Centre allows students to embrace the healthy active lifestyle that is one of SJR's four key pillars.

  • Richardson Senior School

    2014 saw the opening of our state-of-the-art Richardson Senior School. With 35,000 square feet of renovated space, 12 new classrooms, a brand new Biology Lab, Student Lounge and Breakout Areas, the new building is a testament to SJR’s pursuit of academic excellence and educational innovation.

  • Kleysen Biology Lab

    Senior School students have the option of participating in the Advanced Placement (AP) program. AP allows students to receive credit, advanced placement, or both, from universities which also participate in the program, easing their transition from school to higher education and improving their chances of gaining a place at the institution of their choice.

  • The River Bottom Learning Classroom

    Junior School students enjoy the tranquil learning environment of the outdoor classroom, located beside the Red River.

  • Dutton Memorial Arena

    Middle School students enjoy some time on the ice on our Olympic size rink.

  • Price Student Lounge

    Senior School students enjoy the benefits of the new Price Student Lounge.

  • Hamber Dining Hall

    A busy lunch hour for Junior School students. All SJR students enjoy a healthy hot lunch each day.

  • Reimer Gymnasium

    As part of the Phys. Ed. curriculum, students participate in a variety of indoor sports, including badminton, Ultimate, soccer, basketball and volleyball.

  • School Buses

    All students within the city limits have access to daily bus transportation to SJR.

    The new Senior School classrooms allow for a flexible learning environment, with moveable walls that facilitate the sharing of ideas and teaching space.
