Endowment
One out of every five SJR students receives some financial assistance. Each year, SJR grants over $400,000 in bursaries and over $100,000 in scholarships. This not only rewards students for outstanding achievement, but often provides critically needed financial support.
What does this have to do with the Endowment? It is the Endowment that provides the funds necessary for these important financial supports. Gifts to the Endowment help keep tuition affordable, maintain our strong enrolment and ensure that SJR is accessible to a broad range of worthy students.
Administered by the SJR Foundation, the interest on the Endowment provides increased financial support for our current and prospective families. The Endowment provides for extraordinary opportunities for our students, many of whom could not otherwise attend our school.
Therefore, by Board approval in 2010, gifts to the Annual Giving Campaign are allocated to the Endowment (unless donors prefer to direct their gifts elsewhere).
Since gifts to the Endowment are held by the Foundation and remain at SJR in perpetuity, your gift make a difference now and for years to come.
