MIDDLE SCHOOL MATHEMATICS & SCIENCE TEACHER & FLOATING TEACHER
Full-time (1.0 EFT) 1 year term position to commence September 2025
The successful candidate will work with a strong team of teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment for students. They will demonstrate a depth of knowledge and ability to teach Mathematics and Science to students in Grades 6 through 8, using strategies that centre student learning. The successful candidate should demonstrate effective understanding of development and progression of mathematics concepts from Grades 6-12. Experience with problem solving, enrichment, and mathematics contests such as the Gauss and CNML are an asset. The successful candidate will also be responsible for delivering dynamic experiences that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and hands-on exploration to grow students’ scientific literacy. Familiarity with the new Manitoba Science curriculum is an asset. The candidate should be a caring and inclusive educator who can enact the School’s character values: respect, empathy, courage, and integrity.

The candidate must hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate or be eligible to obtain one.
