At St. John’s-Ravenscourt School, we believe that education should inspire students to rise to challenges, pursue excellence, and contribute meaningfully to the world around them. Since its founding in 1820, SJR has built a proud tradition of academic excellence within a supportive and vibrant community. Our students engage in a dynamic educational experience that challenges them intellectually, encourages curiosity, and nurtures leadership. Inside and beyond the classroom, students are given opportunities to explore their interests through athletics, the arts, service, and experiential learning, developing the resilience, creativity, and collaboration needed to navigate an evolving world.
Our 23-acre campus provides a setting where learning, discovery, and community life come together. Purpose-built facilities, expansive outdoor spaces, and gathering places across the campus support both academic achievement and a rich student experience. From science laboratories and athletic facilities to clubs, programs, and shared traditions, students are encouraged to pursue their passions and develop a lifelong love of learning.
