At St. John’s-Ravenscourt School, we believe that education should inspire students to rise to challenges, pursue excellence, and contribute meaningfully to the world around them. As a co-educational (all-gender), non-denominational independent school, we foster strong relationships, purposeful learning, and high expectations to help students grow in confidence, character, and capability.
Since its founding in 1820, SJR has built a proud tradition of academic excellence within a supportive and vibrant community. Our students benefit from a rigorous program that challenges them intellectually, encourages curiosity, and develops leadership. As a university-preparatory school, we intentionally equip students with the critical thinking, independence, and depth of knowledge needed for life after graduation. Inside and beyond the classroom, students explore athletics, the arts, and experiential learning, building resilience, creativity, and collaboration essential in an evolving world.
Our 23-acre campus provides an exceptional environment where learning, discovery, and community life come together. Purpose-built facilities, expansive outdoor spaces, and dynamic learning environments support both academic achievement and a rich student experience.
