MIDDLE & SENIOR SCHOOL PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER
Full-time (1.0 EFT) position to commence September 2025
The successful candidate will work within a team of physical education teachers to further a positive learning environment and robust academic program for our students. The candidate will support a vigorous program of basic movement skills, sport-specific skills and habits for active health living. The candidate should be a caring and inclusive educator who can enact the School’s character values: respect, empathy, courage, and integrity. The successful candidate may be assigned to teach other subject areas from time to time, based on their qualifications and the needs of the school.
The candidate must have graduated with a Bachelor of Education degree majoring in Kinesiology or Physical Education. The ability to skate is required. The candidate will be part of a dynamic campus environment where highly motivated students and dedicated staff combine to create a vital, inclusive community culture. Our faculty contribute to both curricular and co-curricular programming, supporting academics and school life opportunities for students. The candidate must hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate or be eligible to obtain one. Teacher candidates are encouraged to apply.
