Welcome

Welcome to St. John’s-Ravenscourt School. I am thrilled that you are interested in learning more about us. St. John’s-Ravenscourt School (SJR) is an independent, academically focused, tuition-based, non-sectarian, all gender Kindergarten to Grade 12 school that offers a university preparatory program to equip students for future success. We encourage students to embrace learning and provide a safe and inclusive environment in which they can develop.

SJR has a proud history of educating children that grow to become confident and compassionate leaders, ready to face challenges and opportunities within the ever-changing world. Focusing upon our four mission pillars of academic excellence, creative expression, active healthy living and social responsibility, our dedicated faculty and staff provide a program that celebrates personal success for each student and allows students to explore a variety of experiences, both within and outside the classroom.

The strength of the SJR community is the School’s cornerstone. SJR alumni worldwide remain deeply connected to the School and provide support in a myriad of ways.

SJR is situated in south Winnipeg on a beautiful campus located at a bend in the Red River.  Bright and spacious classrooms, multiple sports fields and venues including an NHL sized arena, and other amenities provide some of the best facilities of any independent school in Canada.
