Full-time (1.0 EFT) 1-year term position to commence September 2025
St. John’s-Ravenscourt School is currently accepting applications for a term floating substitute teacher. This teacher will be assigned to cover teacher absences and maintain continuity of learning across Kindergarten to Grade 5. The candidate will be assigned specific classroom and/or supervision duties on a daily basis. The candidate must hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate or be eligible to obtain one.
Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience teaching early years children with the capacity to lead a homeroom elementary class on a short-term basis, if needed. The ideal candidate will excel at creating a welcoming, supportive environment where all students feel valued and engaged in their learning. They should possess an understanding of current literacy, numeracy, and assessment practices. They should be a caring educator who fosters a sense of belonging while embodying our School’s core values of respect, empathy, courage, and integrity.
