Best of luck to Armaan as she embarks on this exciting new chapter at the University of Victoria.

Armaan, (Grade 12), has made a lasting impact on St. John's-Ravenscourt (SJR) School community with her achievements in golf. Armaan's journey began at the age of 7 when she discovered her passion for golf and has 28 tournament wins throughout her junior career. Her consistency has earned her the title of Manitoba High School Female Champion from 2018 to 2023, highlighting her exceptional skills on the golf course.
Armaan's achievements extend beyond local recognition, as she has represented Manitoba as a member of the Gold Team in the Team Manitoba Junior competitions from 2019 to 2023. In addition, her academic achievements as an honor student at SJR demonstrate her ability to excel both in sports and academics, reflecting her determination and commitment.
Armaan has received a scholarship from the University of Victoria, where she will join their esteemed golf team in September 2023. This accomplishment, coupled with receiving scholarship offers from over 15 colleges and universities in the United States, serves as a testament to Armaan's exceptional abilities and unwavering dedication to her sport.
Best of luck to Armaan as she embarks on this exciting new chapter at the University of Victoria.
Back
St. John’s-Ravenscourt School was founded in 1820 principally to serve the children of the Selkirk settlers. By 1834 there were forty students, evenly split between boys and girls. SJR has inevitably grown and changed over the years since, though its success throughout has been unimpeachable. We have graduated 18 Rhodes scholars, for example, and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II granted patronage and established a scholarship in her name in 1981. Today the programs are as strong as our reputation. A strong academic program is paired with an equally strong attention to the values of stewardship, ethical leadership, and excellence in all areas of academic, social and athletic life.
